"Das Bear" Upcycled German Military Jacket

We're taking another trip back to Germany with this recent artwear addition. This vintage 80's jacket was a great canvas to showcase the famous German candy that's been around for almost 100 years (invented by Hans Riegel in 1922). Does the word Haribo ring a bell? Yep, that was him. Actual gummy bears in photo not included (sorry).

Fit Intent: Oversized/unisex

Fabric: 100% cotton 

German origin, hand-painted in Los Angeles, CA

Care Instructions: Hand or machine wash cold, inside out with like colors. Tumble dry low and remove promptly or hang to dry. Cool iron if needed, or use a steamer (preferred). Do not iron on any artwork or embellishments. Do not bleach.

So Cool!

Just enough quirky for me. The gummy bear has character. The sturdiness and weight of the fabric is just right for our variable temperatures day into night. The jacket has pockets in just the right places. I liked everything about the jacket, and appreciate that it is one of a kind.
