The "Journey" Organic T-Shirt

The Art Muse Collection is a series of designer graphic tees inspired by museum art and artifacts from various cultures and mediums. You'll notice the art we've chosen is probably something you've never seen before (sorry, no Mona Lisas here), which is part of what makes it so interesting and distinctive. We've slightly manipulated every piece to give it the AOU touch, turning antiques into modern works of graphic tee art.

The "Journey" t-shirt features the artwork of an Iranian artist, Ahmad Naqqash, an illustrator from the mid 1830s. His illustrations of relief monument ruins in Persepolis were accompanied by the writings of a scribe, Ali Akbar. Their work was combined to create a manuscript that recorded their journey throughout the region of Fars in southwestern Iran, led by the French tutor, Louise de la Marinierre.

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not dryclean. Do not iron if printed. Dry low.
