The Dara Knot is an ancient Celtic symbol that represents wisdom, strength, power and leadership. The hand-painted knot on this jacket is just one of many different Celtic knot designs. The word Dara comes from the Gaelic word "doire," which means oak tree. The entangled and overlapping design is a representation of the strength and complexity of the tree's root system.
