The "Super Bloom" Upcycled British Camo Jacket
Every flower has some kind of meaning or symbolism behind it. In the case of the red poppy, the symbolic meaning is that of remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. During WWI, much of the Western European landscape was devastated by war, but in the spring of 1915, thousands of poppies would grow in place of the demolished countryside of northern France and Belgium. Today, many nations have adopted the poppy as their symbol of remembrance for all the men and women who sacrificed their lives to fight for their countries. The "Super Bloom" jacket is an abstraction of the red poppy's symbolic origins, and we think this camouflage is much better suited for art than for war, don't you?
