The "Traveler" Vintage Uniform Jacket

One approach to upcycling vintage pieces is to manipulate the garment in ways that aren't permanent. In the case of The "Traveler," the alterations were done in such a way so as to keep the integrity of the already beautiful silhouette. We changed the buttons, added a pleat to the inner sleeve opening, and hand-embroidered abstract line art on the back to give it a totally different persona--all without cutting any of the original fabric.
